I have spent years of research and effort to collect and put together this site. I do not claim origin rights of all the individual jokes, but The collection of men jokes, i.e. the list of 1200+ one-liners; a unique collection only originally available here, as a whole or parts thereof is © Copyrighted by me, Helene Gullaksen 1995-2001, all rights reserved. (If you want permission to use parts of my material, see info below)

You can, and are of course encouraged to spread parts of the jokes collection in paper form (office faxes and mails etc) as long as you are not doing it commercially, publishing them, mass-producing them or calling them your own material. Printouts circulated must contain the original copyright information and if sent by e-mail or similar, always contain the original source URL: http://www.menjokes.com You can also of course make copies for your personal use. (what else are jokes for...)

Some pople wonder how I can say the collection is mine when they have recieved the same list by mail. Well. When I started collecting, and publishing my page, there was no other list of Men Jokes available with more than 150-200 jokes. I have written some of the material myself. Friends and readers have written large numbers of the jokes for my site. These jokes are unique and only originally available from this page. The circulation of these jokes without the mandatory credit is of course done by people not respecting the copyright laws and it's a violation of the copyright.

I keep this collection online, free for everyone to enjoy, but that does not mean you can steal it off my page and publish it as your own. The copyright works just as it would if this joke collection was published as a book.

Copyright violations are reported to our legal agents, and prosecuted if not removed within three days of notification.
We also report the violation to the admin of the ISP (Internet provider)/server publishing the material in order to gather the personal information of the account holder and, if the stolen material is not removed, press charges.
This complaint is sent to the ISP immediately, without any warning. Many ISP's are very careful to quickly close accounts of clients who are publishing stolen material.
